Comments: DODO signed me up twice charged me twice, and set up 2 phone lines at my house. Then they realised their mistake and cancelled 1 line, but keeping me signed up to the cancelled line. Then DODO sent a tech support person (A telstra rep) to my house to tell me it was incorrect and had to fix my phone line. DODO then charged me 400$ for the telstra rep call out. I have tried to call their call centre which is in the phillipines and they are useless!!! they all talk off a script. Please heed my advice and don't use DODO it's been a nightmare my bill has gone frome 300 to 400 now 500$ for the same callout. DODO ARE CRAP DODO CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE CRAP DON't USE DODO

Comments: 8 weeks after the first phone call to dodo, 32 hours on the phone with there representatives in the last 8 weeks, they lied to me over and over again to get me to agree to there service, they withdrew the money from my account 4 weeks ago, they have supplied no evidence of the transaction, they have supplied no terms of service or copy of contract, and to end it all they tell me now they can not activate the service HAHA what a joke. i am disgusted in there customer service and disrespectful workers. and also not impressed with the now EVERYDAY phone calls trying to sell me there other products, HA they couldn't even supply what i wanted, they couldn't even supply what they had advertised. it said on the advert on TV and on the internet, FREE Installation, FREE Modem and FREE setup, but dodo refuses to supply this and tried to charge me $170 for a modem, $200 for installation, plus $25 delivery and that was for a contract that wasn't even unlimited like they state in all there advertising. lol they wanted $47.90 a month out of me on top of all this, when the advertised rate is only 49.90 a month for unlimited internet with free modem, setup and installation, I suggest to anyone thinking about ringing DODO, DON'T. and if you do make sure you get what you want, write down and refer to all advertising you have seen. and don't fall into there trap, they are only RE-SELLING telstra internet. now i refuse to go through telstra also, but i certainly wouldn't go through someone that's reselling telstras product using there name.

Comments: If you were ever thinking about going with Dodo....RUN AWAY!!! please trust me. I never bother to write reviews, but the world must know. Dodo is Australia's worst ISP and has the worst service by far. Your connection will probably not work, if it does work, it will be terrible. If you have a problem, you will have to speak with 30 people overseas, day after day, just to get if fixed. In my case, I had no internet for 2 weeks, after calling tech support and trying to get it fixed, we finally worked out that dodo hadn't connected my line yet, because there was no signal, just a silent line. They escalated the problem and said they'd send a guy out to look at the line, and that if the problem was on my end that it'd cost $220, but if it was Dodo's fault, it would be fixed for free. They sent a text saying on the 17th they'd fix the connection. That day came round, and the problem was fixed, my internet just started working on that date, no one knocked on my door, it just started working. I thought, great! finally after all this time they've fixed the bad setup job they did. A day later they called to say I owe them $220 because there was no fault, that there was never a fault on their end... WTF! i changed no settings on my adsl, it was just plugged in for a week, then on the 17th, the day they said they'd fix it, it started working, then they tell me that they found no fault? WTF! I had to go through hell to get any resolution, wasted many whole days. NEVER GO WITH DODO, they will screw you out of your money and the worst part is, it will be near impossible to speak to someone in Australia that can communicate with you on the issue.

Cons: A lot of Downtime

Comments: Dodo can be the worst provider i have ever met. We get 2 downtime within 2 Weeks.I have no idea what type of servers are they using? I would like to say these words to dodo:"Now is 21 century. 24 hrs downtime is not acceptable! If You down again and i will fire you!"

Pros: It did work for about 2 years (I got it in 2009) and it worked great!

Cons: got about October last year, the server F**ked it self, I got two more Wireless sticks and both did the same thing! Not load a page

Comments: I had full singnal at my house. It did not work at all. took 30 minutes to load up www.google.com it is a wast of money and it is the slowest internet in austrlia. Now i use Virgin Mobile. Still pretty slow but still works. Cant wait till I get TPG in about a month.

I give it a rating of 1.5

Pros: Cheap and no fuss

Comments: After years of bigpond adsl we decided to go mobile.

Why this deal is so great for me is that it actually comes with a 7" Asus Netbook which so great for using the internet anywhere. I love it. Also I get $400 worth of calls and text. Its only $30 a month but I wouldn't mind paying more for a little extra data. All in all Im very happy with dodo.

Pros: Good on paper!!

Cons: Does not work as good as seen on paper!

Comments: Reliability a problem. Internet is never down but when connected speed is slow. Tried changing modem but still the same. Overall, these guys lure people by giving huge data usage but speed is a big problem. downloads tests shows 1.5 Mbps for my ADSL 2+ but practically the speed is very slow and connection keeps dropping.

Pros: The internet connection was a good speed and reasonably reliable.

Cons: Support, billing methods, glitches in their system, conflicting information

Comments: The internet was great, however DoDo will only do direct debit or credit card, unless you want to pay extra for a statement, and then on the date they inform you the payment will be coming out, they do not attempt to withdraw it, and then charge an overdue fee and disconnect the service. It is very hard to get through to someone who can actually understand english clearly, even if the person can speak the basics well enough.
Basically, unless you have a creditcard and are willing to call the bank and Dodo monthly to ensure that an attempt and deduction have been made I wouldn't choose to go with Dodo again. I am refunding the modem and start-up kit I am that unhappy with them.

Pros: Some friendly staff

Cons: Slow unreliable connection.

Comments: I have not had a good experience with Dodo. I had major troubles setting it up initially. The connection is slow, (I rarely get more than 10kbps) and is regulary down. Other people in my street are getting faster speeds with other providers.
