Pros: none that I can think of

Cons: Extremely poor technical support

Comments: Because of by poor wireless connection in local area attempted to switch to adsl. Sales person very good at selling - said all I would have to do was run the cd and within half an hour should be up and running. Like a fool I believed this. Router / modem arrived promptly and did all that was required. After three attempts I rang the technical support team. Was advised that my line needed \\'provisoning and activation\\' and it would take some days for this to happen. Complained that the package did not state this, nor was I told be sales person. This was after about three hours being transferred to one person after an other. Finally said I wanted to speak to someone in Australia. Promised it would be done in two days and we are sorry but we are very busy. Rang after the two days, on the phone forever another hour but very sorry you will have to wait until after the weekend. Rang again, after the weekend, it will be done by the end of the day (this was a 4pm call as I had not really expected any service). Waited till next day - nothing. Another phone call - plug it into another phone socket and we will call you back in max of 30 minutes as we can\\'t see why it isn\\'t working. No call back, as expected. Waited some time - even went out and did the shopping - nothing. Rang and was advised that they are experiencing high demand for technical support and they couldn\\'t possibly get my concerns seen to by \\'back of house\\' team for who knows how long. Told them that I was packing up up the box, it would be left on my front verandah to collect. They then wanted me to perform a service for them and when the recovery bag arrives to put it in and let them know. Advised them that would happen when they started to offer some service to their very dissatisfied customer and was told I could be charged for the equipment if I didn\\'t. Advised Molik that if I was charged a cent I would take them to court for failure to provide proper details as regards what should have happened by sales team. He advised me \\'have a nice day\\'. A 30 plus year customer of Telstra - never again. Now need to look into new plan, new ISP provider and still no adsl (we are in a notorious black spot for wireless coverage). Really disappointed and frustrated - if just one person at technical support had helped and the sale sperson had given me proper information I would be be less angry. Sick of having to ask to speak to someone in Australia who I could understand. Very bad experience and would not / could not recommend ever again.
