Comments: High speed/low quota plan is the best around (1500/256/4Gb). No frills ,reliable and friendly ISP.

Comments: aaNet promises nothing more than reliable ADSL connection at highly competitive prices, and they more than deliver! An ISP with integrity and respect for its customers, aaNet are a pleasure to deal with. The discerning Internet user can't go wrong with these guys.

Pros: Open, honest, friendly.

Cons: nothing worth mentioning.

Comments: I don't like features "included" as that implies cross-subsidy. Bundled pricing are also difficult to compare and are non-transparant. I like the no frills, user pays system with a very good value for money like aaNet offers currently. And now that they have taken over DATACO, I hope with the economy of scale the prices becomes even more competitive.
A business that also keeps their promises. Bravo.

Pros: Ok to start of with in 2003, went down the gurgler. Games service is mediocre

Cons: Bad Customer Service (told to piss off on Customer Service!), Slow speeds / bad reliabilty.

Comments: It's gotten so crap the last few months, I've dedcied to churn away from SwiftDSL to aaNet. The connection reialibilty for Swiftbroadband is quite bad, and with me running servers - it was terrible.

It was much better when JL was around...or whatever his name was.

Pros: Good, cheap and realiable!

Comments: I recommend aaNet to absoultely EVERYONE! Fast speeds, cheap plans - what more could you want?

Comments: aanet is just a great ADSL company - cheap and fast. Nothing bad of it as yet...being a member for a month or so.

Pros: Excellent Service, Virtually no Downtime (all Telstras fault) and excellent Customer service via their Forums.

Cons: None significant.

Comments: I churned away from Swiftbroadband to aaNet a few weeks ago - absoultely no downtime (except for a major Telstra fault). Absoultely happy with the cheap prices and great speeds. Has all I need, 60 megs of webspace and *15* emails!!!

Pros: Very good customer service. I shopped around for sometime though. Reccomended it to no techy's (im one) and they too have nothing but good reports

Cons: Tech support not open outside business hours though once set up you shouldnt really need it.

Comments: Had it for 2 months. Never had down time or anything like that.
Very fast speeds.
Uploads and downloads are not added together to calculate consumption. They use the higher of the two.
Very good value for money.
I have three friends using them also, though not discussed, never heard any complaints.

Pros: It works

Cons: Long activation wait, dynamic IP, poor support.

Comments: Overall, pretty happy (now!).
One big gripe was the length of time to activate my account (4 weeks+) when they said most connections are up within 2 weeks AT THE MOST!!!
Very poor feedback as to why they were taking so long, some emails I sent them were never answered, or if they were it was often a week later. If you just want to find an ISP with good support and you don't want to do some of the dirty work yourself (I like learnig about ADSL, but its not everyone's cup of tea) I would strongly suggest not going for this ISP.
Otherwise, it has been working OK and advertised speeds have been achieved.

Comments: Very happy with Bigpond Cable. Kicks ass on ADSL!

Service has been fairly good and I didn't have any problems with the initial setup. Reliability has been great.

All in all Highly recommended!

Comments: This is the first and only adsl company that I have ever used and so far Swift has been very good. I have had a few minor problems but nothing really worth writing about here.

Comments: Was given the run-around as to why was taking so long to setup account, they said a particular day, then put it off without giving definite answers, very vague. Spoke to Tech Support several times and while 1 person was very patient, of the 2 others, 1 was obnoxious and the other tried to get through the call at the speed of light.

Comments: All in all I am very happy with iinet. I have called them a few times and they have been very helpful. The connection is reliable and very fast.

Comments: iiNet have always provided innovative incentives to reel in their customers. They offer great support. Sometimes their prices are somewhat higher than their competitors. Overall they are good value for money, recommend them highly.

Pros: In theory a reliable conncetion, not in practice.....

Cons: The lovely hold music that instructs you to visit the website, which would be nice if my connection worked!

Comments: A pricey plan and the speed is capped, can download a lot before your speed is reduced even further.

Pros: Great value for money!

Comments: The service that I have received at Optus has been second to none. I get consistantly good download and upload speeds and have never had any problems. Setting it all up initially was a bit of a headache but everything has been running smoothly ever since. Highly Recommended!
