OZ Broadband Review (OBBR) was founded in June 2004 by an engineer called Dan to assist people with choosing a broadband company. Dan had recently returned from overseas and was trying to find the best ADSL plan for his home internet. At the time, there was no way to compare broadband companies and plans in an open and honest way. Dan locked himself in his room for a few weekends and brushed up his coding skills and Oz Broadband Review was born.

We are a small hard working team based in sunny Newcastle, NSW, Australia.

OBBR was given a major facelift in 2020 to improve the overall experience for our users.

OBBR is 100% Australian owned and run and is not affiliated with any broadband companies.

Over the last 16 years OBBR has helped tens of thousands of people learn about broadband and find a great broadband deal.
