Yet “moose nbn review” searches mostly come up empty, including here until now. So this is our honest look at Moose Mobile’s NBN plans: what they cost, what we actually know about the service, and where the gaps in the picture are. Moose is an Australian provider on the Optus network, best known for cheap mobile plans. They’ve been around since 2015, sell online only, and added NBN plans to the lineup more recently. Like most smaller providers they don’t own network infrastructure: your NBN connection runs over the same wholesale network as everyone else’s, so the questions that matter are price, how much capacity they buy at peak, and what happens when you need support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two things stand out. The Turbo deal is genuinely sharp: 500 Mbps at $63.80 for six months is NBN 50 money for ten times the speed, and even the ongoing $86.80 undercuts most of the market at that tier. On the other hand, the Value and Premium plans are unremarkable; $83.80 for NBN 50 with no intro discount is beaten by half the market, including several providers on our deals page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here’s where we have to be straight with you: our review database holds exactly one Moose Mobile review. It rates them 4 out of 5, with “low prices and quick customer service turnaround” on the pros side and “service isn’t always stable” as the con. One review is an anecdote, not a dataset, and we won’t pretend otherwise. For comparison, providers like Aussie Broadband<\/a> carry over 150 reviews on this site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The wider picture: in August 2026 Moose publicly apologised for service problems that hit customers during a network transition, an episode that got plenty of attention on r\/nbn. Owning a mistake publicly counts for something in this industry, but it also matches the one con in our review data: stability has been the question mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you want big speed on a budget and you’re comfortable with a smaller online-only provider, the Turbo deal is one of the better value plays on the market right now. If reliability and support depth are what you’re paying for, the data (thin as it is on Moose, deep on everyone else) points to our reliability ranking<\/a>, where the top of the table has hundreds of reviews behind it. And if you’re mainly after cheap, compare the cheapest unlimited plans<\/a> before deciding; Moose’s entry tiers aren’t the bargain their mobile plans are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The honest answer is that the data is thin. Their Turbo NBN 500 deal is excellent value, their entry plans are ordinary, and our single customer review (4\/5) praises price and support speed while flagging stability.
