When something goes wrong, clear guidance from a friendly technical support person is vital in helping you rectify the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There has been a trend over the last 5-10 years for broadband companies to outsource some or all of their technical support to overseas call centres. There is absolutely nothing wrong with overseas call centres if the staff are supported and trained properly but reviews on this site have indicated that some overseas call agents have been difficult to understand and have been lacking in technical English skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Broadband companies don\u2019t usually actively disclose whether their call centres are located overseas or not so we got on the phone and did our own research.
