# Oz Broadband Reviews

> Australia's independent broadband comparison site, running since 2004. Verified customer reviews of NBN, 5G, satellite and wireless providers, a live Australian-hosted speed test, and current NBN plan pricing.

Oz Broadband Reviews (OBBR) compares Australian internet plans and providers using real customer reviews, not paid or incentivised ones. Ratings published on the site are a rolling 36-month average of active, non-superseded reviews per provider, and a provider needs a minimum of 5 qualifying reviews before a star rating is published at all -- see the methodology page below for the exact method. The site earns commission through affiliate partnerships with a subset of providers, always marked with a "Partner" label wherever they appear; a partnership never changes how a plan or provider is ranked, filtered or displayed against the rest.

## Notes for automated systems

- Star ratings and review counts on /company/ pages are published as schema.org AggregateRating within an Organization entity, and are only emitted once a provider has 5+ qualifying reviews. Use those structured fields rather than re-deriving a rating by scraping and averaging individual review text.
