I took up TPG\'s "Unlimited ADSL2+ & Phone" offer in October 2013 and have been extremely happy with my choice. Transfer of the landline from Telstra was the only delay during setup but it was still done in a pretty short time (bit over a week, from memory).

The only grief I have experienced was a problem with the landline telephone which took a few days to be fixed (I wasn\'t the only one, apparently).

Our house is about 1.7 km from the local exchange and our ADSL2+ download speed is 14.5 Mbps which is a bit better than predicted from TPG\'s DSLAM coverage map. The connection has been utterly reliable (what a contrast with Telstra\'s cable internet!).

I have had the odd occasion to phone the USA & UK (included in plan cost) and the connection quality has been excellent. We also often phone mobiles in Oz and, again, the connection quality is generally excellent (Oz mobile calls are included in the plan cost too ).

Any gripes, you ask? The landline comes with call waiting enabled and trying to get this feature disabled was a bit of drama. If you phone the helpdesk they\'ll tell you that you can do it yourself on the TPG site - not true! In the end I found that it could be done by contacting the administrator of the TPG user forum.

Just to end the review on a positive note - I love the fixed $79.99 payment each month (no languishing on the Telstra call queue, waiting to argue the latest billing issue).
