I have had DODO home phone and ADSL 2+ for over 6 years. I have never had a reason to test the speed until 2 years ago when I started streaming movies. I have complained so much over the last 18 months that I have had almost 9 months compensation. The DODO internet provider is OPTUS but what they don't tell you is that you have the option to also be connected with TELSTRA. For the last 18 months I have complained about the speed and suggested that it's very much like congestion and lack of band width. OPTUS and DODO both denied this until my last phone call when the last DODO specialist, suggested it sounds like congestion. I said 'thankgoodness someone agrees with me'. when confronted with losing me as a customer, His suggestion came as a shock when he said he could switch me to Testra which is an option, but DODO company policy is to offer OPTUS and not mention TELSTRA. Last week the switch was made and amazingly, No more congestion and 30% faster speed. For DODO's deceit I switched gas providers to anothee company.
