Having been with TPG in NSW for over 11 years, we kept them when we moved to Victoria. Since then however, the service has declined to the point that it is unusable (as in no internet). We changed modems, we filtered the new modem through a surge board, however still nothing. Over two weeks of troubleshooting with TPG closing the ticket each time and saying there is no fault has left me frustrated. I even got them to admit that they were relying on their software connection to the DSLAM at the exchange to tell them there was no issue and that no, they had not physically inspected the hardware at the exchange. WTF? A check of ADSL complaints across IT forums in Australia shows that TPG users are getting poor ADSL service and the tech support is brushing them off saying that they can't provide anything other than what you now have.

It would seem that cracks are starting to show in TPG's service since they started trying to be the biggest ISP in Australia.
