In the middle of change of ownership on the fax line (owned by Telstra) as part of a business settlement. There was already a internet service on this line with iiNET from the vendor and so I was looking at the option of bundle both the line rental and data with iinet after the change of ownership took place and so I registered my application with them on the 18-Aug subjected to the fax line also support EFPOST and HICAPS.

The sale guy waffled saying that it will support but when ask for any reference to support this claim he wasn't able to provide me anything.

On 22-Aug I rang to cancel my application with them and did ask for reference number but was told to use the previous one.

On 24-Aug I got message from them indicated that the service is now active, so I rang and was assured there is a glitch with the messaging system and nothing had gone thru (...lies...).

On 26-Aug I got a message from their provisioning team indicating that the number was ported over to iiNet and can not be ported back to Telstra or it's not within their ability to do so.

Change of ownership of the fax line had not happen, yet they went ahead without anyone consent. They lies every time I called assure that nothing being carried out. They breached Telco regulation and go ahead without anyone consent or permission and provide false or incomplete information about the EFPOST and HICAPS about their phone line.

That is my definition of a pathetic service, Australian people and businesses should much deserve better than this.
