Wanted to go with Vodafone as we already have their mobile plans but due to us moving from the UK recently, we didn't pass their credit checks (need 4 months of history). Purchased my TPG NBN plan online on 30th Nov. First appointment date for NBN installation is 18th Dec. No one arrives despite someone being home waiting all day just for the technician, living room faces the street with floor to ceiling glass windows so we couldn't have missed it. NBN's records say that no one was at home. The next appointment now isn't until 9th Jan. I've been desperately waiting for internet to run my home office and now need to wait another 3 weeks. Sorely disappointment, customer service was no help. I'm now chewing through my phone's internet as I need to hotspot my phone to work. Won't offer any compensation either, not even discounting the installation fee even though they have failed to provide the service on the promised date.
