I have not had a good experience with Dodo. I had major troubles setting it up initially. The connection is slow, (I rarely get more than 10kbps) and is regulary down. Other people in my street are getting faster speeds with other providers.

Dodo don't support Mac, which means that if you have trouble setting up Dodo broadband access they won't be able to do any troubleshooting for you.

When my daughter's moved into their own flat in November 2012 I helped them sign up with DODO. In the following 3 months they had nothing but drop outs and slow speeds. The girls made numerous calls to customer service and were told on each occasions that the service was okay. Dodo told how to recycle the connection; isolate the internet from the telephone, etc, etc..
In February they asked me for help so I wrote the Dodo and told them that if they couldn't get it right we would cancel the service as a result of Breach of Contract due to a failure by Dodo to provide a continuous service at a reasonable speed.
Dodo stated they would resolve the issue by sending out a technician and ensure a suitable internet connection. On the 28th of February 2013 I received a phone call from Dodo asking if the service had been resolved. I informed Dodo that I believed it was resolved but that I personally did not use the service, i.e. my daughters do.
When I subsequently asked the girls how it was they told me nothing had changed, but that they were sick and tired of spending half an hour on the phone each time the ADSL2 dropped out only to be told to recycle the connection.
In short they put up with a defective service in the knowledge they would be only at the address for 12 months.
They have now decided to leave 3 months earlier and have asked DODO to cancel the service as of next month, and asked that Dodo waive the termination fee based on Breach of Contract, i.e. failure to provided suitable connection.
Dodo responded â No, you didn't complaint for the last 5 months and were using the system so it must have been okay. Even though I tried to explain that the girls were sick and tired of ringing up for zero result they wouldn't take this into account.
DODO is a dishonest and misleading company, who do not care about their customers.
