Pros: Reliable, Economical, Quick to reply to questions

Cons: So far, just not totally happy with voip 'phone as described hereunder.

Comments: My internet is so reliable now - before joining Aussie Broadband with nbn, my internet used to go down several times a day for many months. Connection speed is much better than before. Able to tailor requirements with A.B. so no wasted costs. So far, not so happy with voip 'phone abilities using a Telstra DECT 6.0 phone, though, but hoping to sort that out today.

Pros: TPG Worse than Worst

Cons: TPG worse than worst

Comments: I signed up for 18 month contract with TPG at my rented home in Brighton. I paid initial set-up fees and was told that during contract period, if I relocate to another place, then there will be no additional charges I.e. No new set-up fees. This is standard 18 month SL contract offered by TPG. However, I moved to my own home in Moonee ponds. When I requested my connection to be moved to new place, I was told my home is not NBN-ready yet and only option I can avail is ADSL2. In clear breach of original contract, "change of location fee" of 99$ has been charged again. I was also told that after 6 months, my home will be NBN-ready and I will be asked to move to NBN again. I learned that I will be charged 300 $ as NBN set-up fee plus some router fees etc. This is Rip-off by TPG. Though, I have already raised this complaint with Ombudsman and pending decision, I believe TPG is morally corrupt company.

Pros: Responsive, competent

Cons: None found

Comments: As a Skymesh user, I was unimpressed to discover I had been sold to another company, who then proceeded to start our new relationship by making the Internet unavailable for several days. Aussie Broadband signed me up and connected me in less than 1 business day, and I have experienced no problems whatever.

Pros: No Bull, Honest, Reliable

Cons: None to report

Comments: I am happy with this ISP because 1. the way they showed their information(through leaflets) and then on their website and also as they handled my order online via email, they where so clear and easy to understand. The way they represent their service is actually a staple for all other I believe. They are Honest about their service and it shows in the evidence they provide. What I most like is the honest way they conduct their business and their follow up to my first service being installed, they where like a close family member always keeping me updated, showing that they really care. Thanks AussieBroadband, may you continue to be a blessing to more of Australia. Chris Y.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Too many...

Comments: It is evident that TPG does NOT gives a shit about their customers or customer service. Take a look at all the reviews they got on different websites... What TPG call centers stupidly, arrogantly or ignorantly failed to realise is that pissing off your customers will ONLY means one thing = NO BUSINESS.

As customers, we are NOT stupid nor put up with TPG's way of managing their customers. I had to pressure and show them how to do their job as they think they can get away with doing nothing and saying "no idea" is an answer. As of today, I have cancelled my account with these monkeys and give my money to one of your competitors. There is NO way I'm going back to use any of TPG service even if it's offered for FREE, it's not worth my sanity!!! Bye Bye

Comments: I hate Dodo they took over $900 from my account over Christmas, said it was for excess data, I hardly use my phone, as I have a PC. But i was in Vic for Christmas with my Dad, I found out that I only had 1.5 Gb over 7 yrs. They didn't tell me what I had I had to pry it out of them, I am contacting the ACCC the Fair Trading dept, and the Ombudsman. Please do not use Dodo, they ruined my Christmas.

Pros: None so far

Cons: Installation takes forever

Comments: Wanted to go with Vodafone as we already have their mobile plans but due to us moving from the UK recently, we didn't pass their credit checks (need 4 months of history). Purchased my TPG NBN plan online on 30th Nov. First appointment date for NBN installation is 18th Dec. No one arrives despite someone being home waiting all day just for the technician, living room faces the street with floor to ceiling glass windows so we couldn't have missed it. NBN's records say that no one was at home. The next appointment now isn't until 9th Jan. I've been desperately waiting for internet to run my home office and now need to wait another 3 weeks. Sorely disappointment, customer service was no help. I'm now chewing through my phone's internet as I need to hotspot my phone to work. Won't offer any compensation either, not even discounting the installation fee even though they have failed to provide the service on the promised date.

Pros: Ocasionally a nice person on the phone

Cons: Dropouts, poor service, difficult to cancel,

Comments: After 7 weeks of attempting to get the Fixed Wireless NBN working so that it didn't constantly drop out I switched to an Australian based reputable company and have had no problems with the internet whatsoever.

Dodo only appeared to "attempt" to look at my issue when I rang every couple of days. 2 modems and 3 NBN Boxes and no difference. They blamed NBN when clearly it was their problem as the same aerial and NBN box is working perfectly with the new company.

Some of the service people were rude, some were lovely and really tried, but they can't do anything when their company doesn't have enough bandwidth or whatever the actual problem was. Often difficult to understand the accents over those horrible overseas VOIP phone lines.

Very difficult to cancel the service, they keep charging you and when you ring, you are bounced from one person to another whilst waiting for ages on hold.

Also constant phone spam from them was quite annoying.

Pros: Sometimes the Internet works

Cons: EVERYTHING

Comments: MISERABLE service. The WORST!!

I was with iiNet for a year. The Internet they provided was patchy and dropped out regularly. Setting up with them was a nightmare - they took several weeks to even send me the modem, and then it was the wrong kind. Talking with them on the phone is torture - they refuse to do anything to help resolve issues that they've created.

My breaking point was when I tried to move house with them. They didn't keep setup appointments, wasted tons of my time, kept me on hold forever with customer service - and I still don't have Internet!

Just do yourself a favour and never, ever, ever try and deal with this company! So many wasted hours of my life I will never get back, just trying to get Internet...
