Connection Speed

Connection speed refers to the upload and download speed of your broadband connection.

Rating Guide:
9-10: Connection speed consistently exceeds the advertised speed
6-9: Connection speed is consistent with the advertised speed
4-6: Connection speed varies around the advertised speed
2-4: Connection speed is sometimes slower than advertised speed
0-2: Connection speed is consistently slower than the advertised speed

Connection Reliability

Connection reliability refers to the amount of downtime that your connection experiences. Downtime is time that your internet connection is unavailable.

Rating Guide:
8-10: Very little or no downtime. Connection is only ever down for short periods of time.
6-8: Some downtime experienced, but not enough to inconvenience the user.
4-6: Downtimes are irregular but enough to frustrate the user.
2-4: Downtimes are fairly regular and inconvenience and frustrate the user.
0-2: Connection is unreliable. Downtimes are frequent and long.

Technical Support

Technical support refers to the help and advice provided by the company regarding technical issues. Technical support may be received via phone, email or in person.
