having been with IINET for many years,I find that by not disclosing costs etc of the email change is misleading as I soon found out what it will now cost me.hence my interest in signing with Aussie Brand

Over the 10+ years I have been with IInet I have been very satisfied with the customer support provided, price for the service, and reliability of the NBN connection. My only negative - when I did reach out for some tech support the wait time was very long - over an hour. The support however was spot on, and my issue was resolved.

So disappointed with iinet's decision to end their email service. I have an issue with mine and now have to make other arrangements. This means the end of iinet after 19 years. They were once #2 in Aus now going down fast, what a shame.

Only issue I have with my service is due to my power company which has overnight millisecond power disruptions occasionally which cut off modem connection.
I believe that iiNett is a good all round internet service provider.

The whole process from opening a new account with iinet to setting up and connecting to broadband was seamless. The monthly cost for unlimited broadband is fantastic value for money, plus I like the fact that I'm not locked into any contracts it's just one simple payment on a month to month basis. On the downside, occasionally the internet connection will drop out completely but this also may have more to do with the area I live in rather than iinet.
Overall I am happy with iinet and the service they provide.

I have a small issue of not being able to access my iiNet toolbox for many months. iiNet will not solve this problem. They go through the motions ie sending automated emails and SMS messages but will not help me. They gave up after a while until I made a TIO complaint which forced them to do something. The only thing they did was send more automated emails and SMS. Iinets email server is slow and old fashioned. The email portal hasn't been updated in all the approx 15 years I have been a customer. IiNet sometimes responds to reviews but it is just a ruse to make it look like they are helping. L

I think my plan is is a little overpriced and the service at iinet is a little underwhelming but the hassle of changing providers means I'm not motivated to look for better. In 26 years of home internet I've only changed provider once.
