TPG is a long-running budget broadband brand that merged with Vodafone in 2020 to form TPG Telecom, now one of Australia's largest telco groups (it also owns iiNet). TPG-branded plans remain a low-cost way onto the nbn. Swoop Broadband is an ASX-listed Australian internet provider that runs its own fixed wireless network of more than 470 towers alongside reselling nbn. The retail brand started life in regional Victoria in the 1990s and now offers nbn 25 through to nbn 1000, plus FTTP and Opticomm where the local infrastructure is in place. Swoop also runs business internet and mobile plans, and was named a 2026 ProductReview award winner in the Internet Service Provider category.
