Good all rounder that isn’t the cheapest but is fast and reliable

Compared to competitors, the cost of Telstra's NBN plans are significantly more expensive for the same amount of data and the same speed. Some internet companies have Australian call centres, whereas when you ring up Telstra, you don't know what country it is going to divert to. Since switching to NBN from cable, the internet has been reliable.

We started with aussie broadband and found the connection constantly slow and disrupted plus the modem cost money upfront. We looked online and found telstra offering a brand new modem at no upfront cost and a better and faster connection nbn plan so we decided to try it and we haven't regretted it. It's fast and reliable and the modem was so simple to plug in and connect. We were up and running in about a week. With aussie broadband it took 2 weeks for the modem to arrive and then connecting it was confusing and frustrating. Thanks Telstra

Although it can take an awful longtime to inform them of what is happening with your broadband going round and round in circles all of a sudden a new technician online and within seconds problem solver

Really costs more than it's worth: alternatives are cheaper!

We consistently have issues with internet dropping out and being unresponsive. Have had many calls with Telstra to fix, but to no avail. Customer service is great and they've tried their best, but unfortunately hasn't been the best experience.

Telstra is the only company to use if you live in a smaller, less populated area, as they are the only company that honestly has a reliable service, despites others' claims. Plans are competitive and customer service is excellent, with call centres in Australia.

Living rurally, we have no other choice of internet provider. Sadly, Telstra has zero customer service, and the internet is not reliable.
